I agree. I, as a supporter, am groaning when I hear the same lines over and over again, from both her and McCain. Come up with new lines. There is plenty of ammunition.

I wonder if anyone else caught the dynamic after the debate was over? Sarah and Joe were standing talking, and he was rubbing her arm, and she makes a move, out of his grasp, and fixed a gaze on him, like he had said something really out of line! I saw Sarah Barracuda then! I would LOVE to know what he said.

Whether or not Biden's "facts" were honest, he probably succeeded in making a lot of people think they were honest, which in politics is most of the battle.

Key word: probably. My take: Unlikely. People are sick to death of smarmy, elitist politicians who believe they can tell us what we think and how we feel. Joe Biden even had a few moments of smug "buddy-buddy" looks toward Gwen Ifil, as if to say, "Sarah's just a dumb little girl. You and I, we know better." If you watched the Luntz group's reaction segment, you have to know they represent a portion of the voting population who really, really liked what Sarah had to say.

I didn’t necessarily expect her to be vicious but I think she could have made forceful, factual points to tear down 0bama’s and Biden’s record while stating clearly how she and McCain will adhere to conservative principles. Reagan managed to do this without being mean in debates.

But then Palin seemed to do pretty well so maybe it’s best she didn’t take my advice. This gives McCain a boost so I hope he is combative on Tuesday night and does not cede back some of the territory won tonight.

I’m not impressed with BS either, but if you’re entranced with Sarah to the point that you can’t be objective, your the one living in a dream world. Sarah might connect emotionally, but she lost this debate in points and objective fact.

Your attitude is exactly the kind of thing that makes Sarah successful with patriotic Americans. They're tired of the intellectual, super wealthy politicians whose only successes are enriching themselves and demoralizing our great country.

I read where a poster on youtube nicknamed Governor Palin as “Bible Spice.” I’m sure it was supposed to be a slam, but I think it’s kinda cute. Anyway, I thought she did great, I realize she’s had broadcast training and experience but I was still floored with how well she handled the camera. I think Biden was first surprised by her, then charmed, and ultimately impressed by her. Now I understand the rules here, write anything positive about the opposition and be labeled a troll, but I think they both behaved like adults and outperformed and outclassed BOTH Pres candidates.

Agreed. If I had to pick anything to be negative about, it would be the “Maverick” bit. Even used once in last night’s debate was one time too many. She did a great job overall.

There the problem is. Biden, Hitler and Obama know that if you repeat a lie long enough it appears to be the Truth.
