WASHINGTON, DC (AP) Doubts over the proposal to bail out the USC Trojan football program continue to slow the progress of the bill through Congress. Both Democratic and Republican lawmakers object to portions of the package, and are asking for more time to allow for further debate on the issue.

They need to fire Pete Caroll. He has more talent than anyone else and every season they show up for a few games and don’t put out elite effort.

I totally oppose this proposal. Its approval by Congress will only trigger an endless demand from other football programs for bailouts. For example, Ohio State will almost certainly demand to be bailed out for last week's loss to USC. And to compensate for six straight losses to the Trojans, Notre Dame will be clamoring for at least 154 points! The American public shouldn't be saddled with such a burden.
That would be an interesting matchup. In all of its history, USC has only played one New England team--Boston College--which it beat 23-17 in 1987 at the Coliseum and 34-7 the next year in Beantown--the only game the Trojans ever played in New England.
