I could only look at the obamanation for a couple of minutes because my eyes,ear and tummy couldn't stand the horror......Manchurian candidate kept coming to mind.
Did anyone else find his manner of speaking terribly irritating?
He stumble/stammers into little short snippets as though he was lecturing 7th graders.
He seems might full of himself for someone so totally lacking in life experience!!!!

Good morning Bev - YES, he was irritating. When JM hammered away, he would begin his hemming, hawwing, stuttering. At that point you could tell he was grasping for the right thing to say, and it wasn’t easy.
For me, the contrast was crystal clear. But many voters are young and inexperienced, and will only see JM-the old man. God help us all...we may really need it.

McCain did better last night than Bush did in either of his first debates in 2000 and 2004, so I would say that all in all it was not the disaster Nobama was hoping for...;-))

I agree. In fact, McCain has won every debate I’ve seen (in my mind). I like his crisp, snappy one-liners and his historical background responses. GWB kind of put me to sleep. I’m not sure why, but he did.
