Jemian, that thread about Paul Newman has been pulled as unconfirmed.

I didn’t watch the debate as we were visiting with daughter but Mario Cuomo’s speechwriter was pundit on Fox&Friends and everybody there agreed McCain had the edge last night. FWIW.

Good morning everybody, travel day today to our house.

I remember your water disaster. That is incredible. You are marvelous not to be in funny farm after all of that. I’m very glad your foot is healing fine. That’s a good thing.

I’m not doing badly at all. I’m at home. I’m seeing progress in some projects of mine. My sister is down from Ithaca for this weekend.

The only bad thing in my life at the moment is that The Raven and I are on opposing goals of the gridiron today. I hate disagreements in the family!

Auburn is crazy today because of the game. RVs began arriving Tuesday evening and more yesterday. Yesterday afternoon people were marking off squares all over the campus for their tailgating barbecues. Traffic was snarled all over town.

Today I’m going to stay home and watch the game on TV.

Thanks for the info about the thread on Newman. I think my favorite Newman movie was The Sting. Not only was it a good movie but my date for that evening made me feel so special. Auburn was out for the holidays when it opened here. My date had gone to his home, about an hour and a half away. He came here to take me out and then returned home afterward. He could have seen the movie at a theatre much closer to his home. He drove three hours just to see me.

2/3s you are absolutely right about the arab, he don’t noe nuthin, not even the name of the soldier on his bracelet. I think that was a telling moment.

I was right there with you Miss M. 1 martini and 3 glasses of wine. I think the arab’s telling moment was when he had to look to see who was on his bracelet, Sen. McCain knew his. It was mentioned the arrogance of the arab quite a few times and how well he spoke during the beginning to the debate, which led some to think he had the questions before hand. The later on in the debate, he forgot what he was supposed to say, so had to go back hmmming and ahhhing.

eq, I think you’re right about the dangerous handlers of nobama.

Boy, you’re right about those two topics. If the Cowboys and TX A&M lose their games on the same weekend, this house is in a roar for at least 2 days. Roomey has a hard time when they BOTH lose on the same weekend. If the Aggies lose it’s unmentionable around here for awhile...he takes it personally.

Hey there yourself! Didn’t McCain do awesome last night? Obama was reduced to saying “I agree with” about a dozen times, LOLOLOL!

I’m one of those who wimped out on it. I am already voting for Sarah Palin and Nobama makes me want to throw-up. Instead of the debate, LD and I went out to Hobby Lobby and I got a glass grinder for my new hobby of making stained glass windows.

I’ve done one beginner piece that is ok. I have another project which I’ll start before the game today. It is two small windows for our front door. One window will have an autumn sassafras leaf and the other window will have an autumn gingko leaf. Both plants are located on our property.

There is a new McCain ad on youtube showing Nobama saying, “I agree with.” It is a great response.

>>2/3 I couldn’t bring myself to watch the debate last night

I didn't watch it either, kassie. I recorded it only if there was something of earthshaking proportions, like the CRAT candidate throwing up his hands and saying he can't deal with the pressure and walking off the stage after saying he is dropping out of the race. Like I have said, I can't stand the sight nor the voice of the CRAT candidate. Whenever I hear a newscast on the radio, I have to be ready to hit the 'off' button because I so detest that voice.

GOOD A.M. ‘MIZ’ lysie, thanks for the ‘sumtin ta eat’ this morning, just finished with a bowl of grits with two YARD FRESH eggs on top, yummy, yunnie....

The debate. Course I feel that McCain was the winner and darn sure showed he had more maturity in his left little finger than ObamaWhama has in his whole body. He just does not have it. Yet, a snake oil salesman can push is goods with some ummm’s, ohh’s, ‘let me tell you’s’ surely this nation can be snozzled so easy but, what can you expect.

What made ME mad as all get out is the way OUR President Bush was blasted, I think he has done a good job and having to fight the likes of Barney Franks (when I see him I have to admit my mind drifts off to thinking of his actions in his ‘off time’), I say now, THANK YOU PRESIDENT BUSH FOR KEEPING US SAFE FROM MORE ATTACTS, FEEL PROUD OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!!!!

Looks like I am going to have to spend the day calming sown from that young ‘whippersnapper’ last night.
Toby

Glad you got a chance to watch it with the right concoctions coursing through your veins to numb the pain of having to look on and listen to that disgusting piece of wildly-liberal CRAT sewage, Jane. Thanks for that summary.

I'm headed over to the Arapahoe County Republican HQ for a campaign kickoff meeting and to pick up my precinct walk list etc.

I may have related this before, but when I was in the hospital I had difficulty keeping my bp up in a good range. It was just too low. At one point, when it got down to 88/56, I told the nurse to turn the tv to the DNC convention and that would likely get my bp raised.
