He didn’t have to. But the implication that he found peace in Islam while all the white guy Americans are murdering thousands, along with all the “we’re going green” lectures we got throughout the season, and Janine Igoramousalo is really just more than I want to deal with anymore.
A well-written plot could have redeemed some of that. But alas, that was not to be found.

So...class is over for the quarter. I have a practicum to do over the summer, but no real class schedule.
LOST is over, 24 is over, BSG is over. I’m not working weekends.
You’d think I could relax...

Oh...wait...little early for that. Sorry...knee jerk reaction.
I’m feeling stretched, too...but in my case, it’s on account of being so durned disorganized and so easily overwhelmed. I went shopping last Saturday morning for about an hour, and was useless the rest of the weekend. And feel like doing nothing next weekend, too.
Plus I have a decision coming up regarding whether or not to do the braces thing. I have an appointment with the dentist (same guy—he does ortho, too) in about a week...if I don’t cancel, it’s a prelude to getting the braces put on in about another week. And I really want someone to just tell me, “Yes, this is what you should do, and he’s an OK person to do it.” Which isn’t going to happen. Family is disinterested at best, disdainful at worst.
I hate being responsible for my own actions. ;-) And the whole thing is making me crazy.
By the way, is it just me, or is the moat between us and the mailbox steadily getting wider? I’m going to need a raft to get across pretty soon.
Or I could walk around. But where’s the fun in that?
Yes this is what you want to do. It’s time you did something just for yourself.
Can’t tell you if he’s the right guy to do it. But references could.
