Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
May not be a problem. Seems Kiefer's recent head-butting is being considered by the DA in Los Angeles as a reason to cancel his probation. Result: 11 months in the slammer.
And here I’ve been blaming the squirrels...
I’m pulling out of the driveway this morning and see this HUGH crow in the backyard. Then I notice he’s dragging something across the yard. I was hoping it was a chipmunk, but it turned out he had pulled down the suet holder and was pulling it across the grass trying to get the last little bit.
Crows are cool. So smart!
Hey...I have discovered Geocaching! It’s been a while sinse I’ve had a new obsession! I don’t have a gps yet, so I just google the coordinates on google maps and go and look! It’s hard without the gps...but my mom is sending me her old one!
Heh.... it’s easier WITH the gps! :~)
I imagine so!! But we found our first one last night...just down the street from the house. I found it on geocaching.com, googled the coordinates and took off down the street on foot with the boys. Joshua found it.
We’re all hooked.
We need to do a little geocaching again, I bet it would help us discover some cool places in our new town.
Hmm, good point.
Plus with all the tourists in this area I bet there are some really interesting caches set up
There’s like almost 3000 within just a 100 mile radius of my zip code!! I bet yours is much more than that and I sure do bet you’d find some interesting things!
Are you a member of geocaching.com? I’m cyber-mom there.
RE: LOST
Tomorrow night is a 3-hour event. Is the 8 p.m. a rebroadcast or another review show?
Discuss.
I think I am on there but I forget my name. Probably the same as here.
According to the Yahoo TV site, the first hour will feature highlights from past shows dealing with Locke AND what happened to the remaining passengers in the three years since Ben moved the island. Finally, we’ll find out what’s been happening with Bernard and Rose! LSA
That’s it! I found it.
hmmmm...I’m thinking I may have to miss choir practice.
Do I look feverish?
Very
No no no. Choir practice is easy - just lose your voice this afternoon. No verifiable symptoms required and it’ll clear up by morning no problem
;-p
But, but, but LOST is on tomorrow night. I don’t want to peak too early.
You have choir both nights?
Well, not until the Christmas show kicks in. :-)
My post about choir was in response to osage’s post about LOST tomorrow night. It’s a three hour event. I don’t want to record three hours and not start watching until 11.
Ah, well then just move your sudden onset of illness to tomorrow... unless you want to get out of work too ;-p
