Lego has a website and most importantly, they have a CAD program where you can design and assemble the plan in 3d.
It is a truly remarkable program

http://www.bricklink.com/That's one way to get Legos. I don't know what happened to "BrickBay," though. Maybe eBay had a problem with it. There are lots of Lego sales on there too, but not on the scale of individual bricks.

ehhh, I would have been impressed if he built the airc raft carrier to the same kind of detail only on a larger scale by using Duplo blocks which were the kiddie lego blocks.
