How could she do that without violating health laws? She couldn't. They should have charged her the same amount that they had previously charged her and told her that in the future the price was $3.80.

What would they have done if she, expecting to be charged only a buck-fifty, didn’t have the other two dollars they demanded?
This does not excuse her pouring the drink on the counter.
