Listen, I LOVE Paula, but think she’s just an old-school Southern Democrat. I’ll never forget a couple of years ago when, on one of her half-hour shows, she had Jimmy and Roz Carter on (fellow Georgians) - yes, we all know Jimma was one of the all-time WORST presidents - but I understood.
Paula’s NOT about politics - I wouldn’t hold it against her.
She’s from Albany, GA where my mom was born and raised. In my mom’s later years she kept asking me for Paula’s address so she could write her, I think regarding Jimmy Carter appearing on her show. Mom hated Carter and you couldn’t even mention his name without her going on and on about him. I’m sorry mom never wrote her before she died, even though Paula would never have read the letter.
