What happened to this story on abc news? It was up earlier, and now I can’t find it anywhere. Google even tracks it to abcnews.go.com but there is no cache for it.

Very strange. When I started this thread the subject was about bumper stickers saying the phrase. Now we have a U.S. congressman saying it on the house floor. Wow! just Wow.

Well, I argued the case on our local newspaper forum. But it seems like every time they (abc) have a story going and the comments lean to our side, they spike it, shove it where you can't easily find it or revise it. I don't know if it is always true, but looked at the lineup today. Nothing positive about Sarah. OK, here were most of my points. Jesus' mission was to establish his church. The only thing I recall him organizing was the miracle of the loaves and fishes when ordering the people to sit down in companies of ten. Then he never spoke out about slavery or womens' rights, think his mother couldn't sit with his stepfather in the synagogue, she wouldn't have been able to go past the first court in the temple (some might not like that here). Then I pointed out about his breaking rank with the dominate culture by speaking to the woman at the well who was a Samaritan and part of a sect that had broken away from the main one. Then Pontius Pilate was an appointed governor, not a democratically (not to be confused with the Democrat Party) elected one, important distinction. But the masses won't get it, and good thing I know some scripture but am no expert. I did say I doubted he be in favor of abortion, but he never said anything about it, pointed out how he blessed and cared about little children. I shudder to think how they will mangle scripture and wanted to read those comments.

I would have rather argued my points on a more hostile forum because no one challenged me.

That story about the lipstick/pig, was revised on abc. The comments were going very negative against their guy Obama, so Jake Tapper rewrote it to include comments McCain made back with Hillary's health plan, (true but a slightly different context), I have no trouble with the truth, but the positive comments were way buried and started going mostly positive towards Obama.

I don't know why Sarah is giving her first interview to abc when they're evidently playing hardball like this. They are still in the tank for Obama. I know she has to go on some program, but she has some clout now to dictate some terms, guess she's caught b/t a rock and a hard place on that.

The only positive thing is that abc does allow comments, and a lot are on our side, wouldn't want to guess the percentage because I don't have time to read them all. There are things that have been debunked on both sides they keep hammering away at, some they accuse abc of not telling the whole story about Obama which is true.

People did note that there were more comments about the lipstick/pig, 1000+ and few on the impending bank failure.

Sorry for belaboring matters here. I'm just frustrated that the media is so obviously pro Obama all the time, will say a couple positive things on Sarah then go negative. I say too much most of the time, bad habit, start a comment then scuttle it often here.
