Hi all: What a neat day! I found out my computer is going to be replaced and...drum roll please! I finished putting the CABOT water proofing on all three decks, rails, uprights, steps and landings :-) I wasn't going to do the deck floor, on the riverside deck, because it was still showing it was water proofed. But, as long as I had all the equipment out there and was full of energy...I thought, "why not"....maybe next year I won't feel as spunky. If that happens, then the big deck is covered ;-) CABOT says their water proofing is good for 4 years and I believe it! I have to admit, it looks REALLY nice!!! Another thing I like about CABOT is that it is a soap and water clean-up. I finished cleaning the brushes, pads, rollers and pan in a matter of minutes.
Between yesterday and today, I have vacuumed up LOTS of spiders and sent them to spider hell. If the old wives tale is true, and killing spiders brings rain, then...we are in for a monsoon :-)
The phone rang, while I was in the house for water - it was McAfee. I have been complaining, for just about a week (via phone, internet chat and email) because McAfee is stopping my DSL from connecting properly...it wants me to connect via wireless. They finally answered today. I absolutely could not understand the little out sourcing person. I thought he said he was from MAXI-PAD! and I thought, "well honey, you are definitely calling the WRONG household :-)" I finally said....spell who you are s-l-o-w-l-y! He did and I said...."I am terribly sorry but I will need to have someone call me who speaks clear English because I am from the south and my brain can't compute your accent". He must be used to it because he said someone would call me tomorrow evening after 7 p.m. PST
Andy and Charlie were outside with me all day - I was so proud of them because, not once, did they didn't walk in the fresh paint. They are in for the day now. Charlie would love to go back out one more time before dark but that is NOT going to happen. I put Andy's baby gate across the riverside deck steps so none of the wild critters could leave footprints for me.
Tomorrow, I will go to church, do some shopping and then, in the afternoon, get together with Dick and Anne. We have a new pizza place in town - think I might pick up a pizza and have them come in here for dinner. Maybe play some Mexican train dominoes or Mahjong.
Monday, is yard work day for me and, think I might be able to find enough fresh blackberries to pick for my freezer.
No other news from here...all is well in our little world. We love email, so write to us. With love and hugs, ABC
