Rudy is a very able and capable politician. There was alot of trash talkin here during the early phases of the process.

I actually still think a Thompson Rudy ticket would have been very, very strong.

But I would never support him for the top slot simply because he has a New York metropolitan view of the the USA. And America is more than New York City.

As peggy Noonan wrote today in the Wall Street Journal:
