I loved when after Mort, and then Nina kept bringing up the fact that someone wrote this speech for her, Britt Hume said, “Now wait a minute, why do you keep bringing up that someone wrote her speech? Every one, every single one of these speeches at these conventions are written for the speakers!”

My 12 year old grandson was watching Sarah & said "She's is throwing punches at Obama in a classy way".

Nicely put by a young one, no less! She is classy.

She looks fantastic and, I think best of all, really comes across as an average American; and I mean that in the best of ways. She talked to us like a neighbor, not a politician. I couldn't be happier with this speech.

I have to confess ... I was against Palin’s selection. I even said she was underwhelming as a communicator.

She absolutely hit it out of the park.

I decided to stay up. Caught most of Rudy's speech which was very well orchestrated. He really laid into the anointed one. And of course Sarah did the same.
I hope a lot of democrats watched it and understand all both said about Obi from Nairobi is true. Perhaps more of them will put their parties politics aside and realize the anointed one would be a bad mistake to choose from. Hopefully they are not that stupid. But I fear many simply do not have a brain capable of understanding what a two bit clown this guy is and that one cannot afford to have him as CIC and POTUS in such dangerous times we live in.

Simply a brilliant speech. She followed a great speech by Giuliani that set the table with an even greater speech. She contrasted the two tickets beautifully and as I have told other people, Joe Biden is largely irrelevant when it comes to the remainder of this campaign, unless he just can’t help himself and acts in most Bidenish fashion.
