Normally a lot of Freepers can’t stand Shep. When he’s in NY I never had a huge problem with his coverage.
But during these conventions he’s been TOTALLY in the tank for Obama.

Oh God how I do so love "The Corner" on National Review Online:
Sarah Connor for VP? [Mark Krikorian]
One of the "facts" I listed yesterday "Sarah Palin will give birth to the man who will lead humanity's war against the machines" prompted a great idea from a reader for tonight's introduction of the governor:
It would almost be worth having Ah-nuld attend the convention just so he could step up to the podium in a leather jacket and sunglasses and say, "I'm heah for Sarah Palin," then stretch his hand out towards and add, "Come wit me if you want to win."

Oh how I wish I'd thought of that first.

I have to tell you, a few nights ago, last week maybe, you posted a comment (I saw it on Latest Posts) that had me cracking up for hours. I was in and out and couldnt comment at the time. Something about/during the Dem Convention. Screaming at a drive thru window wanting change and a milkshake LMAO. Im still chuckling about it.Sorry, I got a phone call or I would have replied sooner.
Twink, you made my night! I love it when I can make people laugh! :-)

an excerpt from Palin's speech
On why she is going to Washington, D.C.: "Im not a member of the permanent political establishment. And Ive learned quickly, these past few days, that if youre not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone. But heres a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: Im not going to Washington to seek their good opinion - Im going to Washington to serve the people of this country."
oh boy this is gonna be good

Norm’s not a bad guy but I do question why he spoke twice?
My Senator Dr. Coburn was supposed to speak on wasteful government spending.
The hurricane scrambled schedules and he never got back in the mix of speakers.

She’s actually making some good points about healthcare, is with McCain all the way but adds a few socialist ideas.

I liked him, too. Not crazy about this one, the Dr. She’s on the nanny state crap and it’s sounding like a democrat convention, imo.
