Yesterday we heard that he might not make it the night. Three of sisters went into Mass General and stayed late. He was incoherent with brief moments of clarity.

Then just an hour ago we found out that he came to and our 4th sister, his wife and he talked all night and still were when another BIL who works in the neighborhood went over during lunch.

I'm finally crying and it's with happiness. He hadn't gotten to talk with his family when this happened last week and God gave them a chance today. Thank you, God!

Thank you all for your prayers!!! He won't survive this but however much conscious time he has is a blessing.

When I read that post, it broke me up. I was so glad to hear that he did get to speak to the family, even though you say he won’t survive. Bless you, Lady. I am drying my tears for you.

This is wonderful news for the family. His passing will still hurt but they can be comforted in knowing that he was with them for awhile longer before he had to leave them.

I will be praying for strength for his family and a peaceful, pain free passing for your BIL.
