What a sweet baby.

I am so glad that you have a kitten there is nothing quite like them.

Your kitten reminds me of a story that was going around the internet years ago, it does not matter if it was true, as it applies to your baby.

A Minister was attempting to get a kitten out of the tree, and could not, so he got a rope, tied it as high as he could and tied the other end to the car, intending to pull the tree, which was still a young one, over enough to reach the kitten.

The rope broke, causing the tree to snap back up and the kitten went flying through the air......and vanished.

When he couldn’t find it, he prayed that it was safe and continued on to the store.

Coming out of the grocery store, was a member of his church, and her basket was full of cat supplies.........He knew she was not a cat lover and did not own one.

“Hello and what are you buying cat food for?”

She told him her little girl had long wanted a kitten and she did not want one and had no plans to get one.

To shut the child up, she told her “If God drops a cat for you, then you can have it, but no other way”.

The daughter had prayed to God that he would send her a cat, as her mother would not allow her to have it , unless he sent it.

“This morning, she was in the yard playing, and a kitten came flying through the air and she caught it”.

“And I am here buying the needed supplies.”

Silently the Minister asked God to forgive him for keeping his mouth shut and not telling her “the rest of the story”, and helped her empty the cart....

Have a special day.

What a great story! My SIL got back from their home bringing 6 more kitties..4 of them I helped bottle feed when their mom abandoned them in my daughter’s compost pile..They are adult cats now..2 were newly abandoned kittens..The youngest one is still asleep on my bed..She has had a busy day indeed..
I had told my daughter I would take a kitten as long as my cat was OK with it..She once hovered over the other cats and groomed them when they were kittens..I believe she will come around. She is accustomed to being Queen of the castle so 9 additions are a bit stressful..LOL
My daughter’s house seems to attract all needy cats and abandoned kittens.
Have a wonderful day, granny.
