Mort Kondracke said on Fox tonight that Palin is not qualfied to be VP. He also thinks Obama is presidential material because he's been running for the job for three years.
How in God’s name is Obama qualified over Palin???
I’ve quit watching MSM either national or local ... my sanity requires it ....
Oh, wait, that's right, it is time to pull out the quotes from when the liberals were trying to put a good spin on Mondale's choice for VP.
Saw it. Very funny. He said that Obama’s qualification is that he has been running for President for two years.
Now that’s rich.
I think I’m going to love it when SHE proves him wrong! ;-))))
If they continue down this road, it will bring Obama’s inexperience to the forefront.
Because they can't make this argument stick.
If she isn't qualified, Obama can't be!
I was surprised at how harsh he was, calling her “unqualified” - especially considering how he has not been equally tough on Barack Obama...
I suppose I was surprised only because he has seemed to be relatively moderate in his liberalism. However, his attack didn’t appear to be rooted in liberalism so much as it was a throwback to a sexual double standard; what is “community activism” (ACORN) for a man doesn’t count (PTA) for a woman. I was just surprised to hear it from Kondrake.
Anybody who gets whupped by Fred Barnes on a regular basis is not a person to be respected.
I heard that too. A ridiculous statement for sure. Compared to Obamamama, she’s a giant. (Let’s go, JANE THE GIANT KILLER!)
Mort is one of those “first black guy in history” idiots with a tingle in his leg. McCain is running for president. Obammie is running against McCain and it is Obammie who isn’t qualified for anything other than going from house to house, cemetery to cemetery, registering people to vote. This “experience” garbage from the moronic talking heads is a non-starter. This election is about “change.” REMEMBER!?! Palin represents “change” better than all of those idiots on the left put together.
And Mort is not qualified to write obituaries for a free local weekly paper.
Let's work on that a little.
Like: "He's got his head crammed up so far up the D.C. beltway that he hasn't seen daylight in ten years."
Mort is right but his reasoning as to why is wrong. Palin is a feminist. No feminist is "right" for positions of power. Enough said.
Mort, please.
I saw the segment. Much to my pleasant surprise, Bill Kristol laid him out pretty good, delighting in the “insideh the beltway” mentality that views running for President with no experience (but personally known to the national press) as being more valuable than a sitting Governor. Kristol made a convincing case that only ultimate Washington insiders consider Obama’s
“experience” to have more breadth and depth than a sitting Governor’s.
One thing for sure: the national media will atack Palin as being a hick from the sticks and not well versed in the most exquisite Washington parties. Like the famous New Yorker reporter, they will not understand what happens, and simply whine that no one they know voted for McCain/Palin.
Michael Savage is out there yapping about how horrible this pick is as well.
Well, some fans are rained out every year.
Me, too. I was surprised to hear it because he HAS been less of a loony lib than most talking heads on TV.
I’d rather have her as Pesident, too
I bet his wife was glad he lived. He took pretty good care of her while she was dying.
Palin: sought out corruption and ended it.
