Need help if you have any info.

My sister went camping in their RV at Village Creek just outside of Beaumont. They had a heck of a time trying to get any gas in the truck but did finally manage to get some in. They knew that 20 would be a parking lot but never thought I-10 would be a parking lot this early in the game.

They live off of I-10 in Houston and are trying to get home pulling a 5th wheel. I-10 is a parking lot so they’re trying to find an alternative way home.

Does anyone know of a number, a map which shows traffic or any way they can find an alternate route which hasn’t come to a dead stop?

Seems as if people are taking Gustav very serious and appear to be evacuating the coastline long before there’s any suggestions much less orders to do so.

The only other good route would be US 90 at Beaumont to houston.

Here is a link to a local Beaumont TV station. It has evacuation route information. Hope this helps! Link

Can they go north and get on 90?

I just ran a MapQuest search for routes from Beaumont to Houston, but maybe it would work better if you did it, because I don’t know that area at all.
