Yah, me too actually. But I have Things To Do before I get there. Just looked up the walking route on Google Earth and it doesn't look too bad. Shade the whole way past some reasonably nice neighborhoods.

But I have to go for a while now, then hopefully meet up with a Swiss colleague for dinner. Poor guy -- he's away from home as long as I am, except he had the long flights to get here.

Long flights truly suck!
I hope your friend is amazed at the amount of diversity in this country. He should come to vegas one day and see the Grand Canyon.
