I was just listening to George Noory's Coast to Coast, because of the break in commercials for the Olympics coverage of the potential upset of Cuba in the gold medal game. I admit listening to these wackos and kooks really get into his show is like reading 9/11 truther comments on DU...hilariously priceless.
Anyways, a lady caller calls in with a "political" question (yes, he gets those calls which breaks the mood of UFO listeners), and that she "hated" BOTH candidates.
Well, George balances himself by laughing, and saying "it's your choice etc." He then goes into a mini rant saying at least 5 times IN SUCCESSION "it's time for a change" like a broken record.
He probably said it 5 times in a 2 minute span. Then the zinger..." my Daddy said always vote for the new guy. Because I know A LOT of Republicans who voted for Bush who changed their minds. We've had enough of these 8 years."
George is a 9/11 Troofer moonbat. I’ve found out - to my surprise - that Art is moderate, or at least skeptical compared to Noory. I’ve heard Art publicly berate the Troofers and BushLied(tm) nutroots that get on the air.
Art B. is a moderate? Now I’ve heard everything. I agree, Noory just takes callers stories like it was gospel.
Back in college, one of my dorm mates called in and from a large bet, “claimed” (in his prank) to have seen Sasquatch. After weeks of trying, he got through his screener, and in his best Oscar performance, sold a 5 minute “story” and George just said “wow, that’s an amazing story, Fred.”
Poor choice of words. I would say he’s less of a moonbat than George.
That’s why I agreed LOL. Too bad though, tonight’s show was about the location of the Ark of the Covenant. The “expert” on the location argued his case with a staff (like in Raiders’) that points to the current resting place. (Talk about ripping off a movie).
To George Noory, I turn the show off. :(
I seem to recall in the 1990s that Art Bell actually said he leaned Republican. On election night 1996 he sounded disappointed that Clinton won again. Does he ever do a live show now or is he still retired? They play some “best of” shows on weekends but I don’t stay awake long enough to hear if he does any new ones.
George Noory’s show always seems to be bashing Bush or the status quo with claims over government secrecy, conspiracies, etc. As if these things just started with Bush. He and whatever guest he has always seems to think somehow this is a Republican problem and that it will go away once a Democrat is in! LOL.
He’s more likely to vote to Barr/paul than Obama.
He goes nuts at the mention of Cheney, he goes ballistic at the mention of Halliburton. Republican "war profiteering!"
He despises Bush. He repeats the Hitler-Prescott Bush "connection" at every opportunity.
His second most regular guest, Alex Jones, really got Norry going describing how Cheney ordered the construction of boats matching Iranian boats with plans to order Navy Seals to man the boats and attack the U.S. fleet off the coast of Iran. Of course the Seals would be killed as our fleet blasted the boats out of the water but Bush-Cheney could start another war.
Noory is a top notch radio professional. He's just so biased against Republicans in general.. I've seen the condition since the 1940s.
I've been a fan of radio since the 1940s. I can only describe Noory as the most bizarre FDR Democrat that I have ever heard. He's a loyal American, of course. He just hates Republicans in general.
If the screeners would stop allowing only calls from fans I think it would be a better show. Though I have managed to get a couple of fast-blasts acknowledged. I figure they screen those also.
When he’s not expounding on politics, George Noory is more tolerable than Art Bell.
Through my drowziness, I’ve actually heard him defend Russia in this Georgia mess. He is a nutcase.
I don’t know if Art is so much a “moderate” than he gets bored quickly by callers who want to talk about politics or items in the news like Democrats take 5 weeks off for Summer. He would rather not spend an entire hour fielding calls talking about politics unless there is something serious going on in this country or half way around the world.
