Anybody watch the press conference? Reports I found with Google news search says it was pretty much a bomb, with more blurry pictures, sketchy DNA evidence, and promises of yet more experts reviewing the data in coming weeks.
Sounds like they're lying out of there piehole and it is a fraud. Today was their chance to provide positive, absolute, undeniable evidence. And it doesn't seem to be there.

Sounds like a repeat of the Alien Video news conference in Colorado a few weeks back. At least provides material for Coast to Coast.
Where’s the body?
An ABC news radio affiliate in Portland, OR, stated that this group claimed they possess a corpse - real 3D proof of Bigfoot.
I know that for people who don’t live in the Pacific Northwest the reports must seem far fetched and crazy. But you wouldn’t think that way if you lived here and had neighbors and coworkers who’ve had very unpleasant enounters with these creatures while hunting, trail riding, backpacking, or hiking. Not everyone who experiences an encounter is willing to go “public”.

My thoughts precisely; between the Montauk Monster, the Chupacabra? video and Bigfoot it should be a banner weekend for Art Bell. I’ll have to say, the thing that washed up at Montauk was interesting and I’d never guessed it was a pitbull.

I was laughing my ... off listening to Roe Cohn’s show which started running the PC until it became just to boring to keep it up. They were mocking it something fierce.
This was alledgedly in Georgia woods. As to the folks you are referring to why would they hesitate to contact the History Channel and become an expert on the subject?
If these creatures exist why no skeltons?

The same thing used to be said about mountain gorillas and elephants - where are the skeletons?

Horseplop. To be noticed in any shape, manner, or form is why the misfits keep pushing such nonsense.
Elephant skeltons have been found. Skeltons of most creatures that exist have been found.
Anyone with a legitimate picture of such creatures has ready money at hand. And there would be no ridicule. Not that that should stop the truth in any case.
When I roamed the woods occasionally one would turn up. Nothing big but those had been run out of the woods I went into since were close to town.
