Georgian television reporter Tamara Urushadze was shot in the arm today while reporting on live television. Unbelievably she tries to continue her report as colleagues bandage her up. Lucky girl.
So if they are truly under fire, why nobody is trying get just a tad further away or hide their heads? Are they brave, stupid, or fake?
Just a guess, with a couple new’s folk in my family I would say stupid.
Now THAT is a REAL journalist, Prayers for her! Hope she gets some medical treatment quick!
Well, we saw the video of Hillary under fire not too far from there- she never flinched and did not run.
Wow... Pretty amazing that she continued reporting after the initial scramble for cover. Glad she wasn’t hurt badly, and glad she has a flak jacket now (one wonders how many they have, and why they all aren’t wearing them! I would!).
Damn cowards shooting an unarmed female reporter!
None of the above - try SHOCKED. Being shot at by a sniper is a tad bit different than being on a “live” battlefield.
I thought the Russians were on their way back to Russia?
Yeah. Same playbook. There are so many false accusations flying from both sides, so you have to consider the source.
Monty Python comments, “It’s only a flesh wound.”
And a very brave girl. And not hard on the eyes either.
I just can’t imagine Perky Katie Couric doing the same.
"Right! I'll do ya for that!"
Couric would hemorrhage if she broke a nail.
LOL
Hillary was lying. The reporter here really got shot, you could see shock starting in the video. She went down after she got hit, too, the impact and OMG factor is huge.
Then, blood and shaky voice and all, the show must go on!
I thought it sweet that the crew put the vest on her, while she’s in the van, and they were outside the van. Chivalry is not dead.
I remember there used to be a “perky” teevee personality called Katie Couric back in the 2oth century. I wonder where she is now.
Hey, if your thighs created that much static charge when rubbed together at high speed, you wouldn’t run either...
