well, they are cooler then normal for this time of year and mid 80’s water temps aren't going to give this storm a big boost before landfall. Just my thnking, not an expert, but unless you live right on the water at low elavation or are very unlucky and catch a spin off tornado, this storm is nothing to worry about. Doubt she will even be a weak hurricane by land fall.

I'd agree with you in general terms, but this storm is definitely going to mess your day up tomorrow. There is no difference in my mind between a strong tropical storm and a weak hurricane. 2 mph makes no difference except to statisticians.
