We just had to go out in the yard and get things put away. Wind is really coming up in Killeen. Looks like the storms are dying down though. Doubt we get any, as usual, lol. I grilled steaks this evening. Before I fired up my grill, it was reading 180 degrees inside.

Just went and checked my car windows. I don't expect much here. I was thinking about doing some late night tree watering, but I postponed that just in case. Perhaps I should check the radar map. My poor non-native pecan trees are really in need of some water. The volunteer pecans next door are as happy as clams.

Grilled steaks sound wonderful! And I certainly believe that about your grill! Speaking of steaks, Alton Brown showed how to do steaks the other night. He started them off in a smoking hot cast iron skillet to sear them, and finished them in a 500 degree oven for a few minutes on each side. Not as good as grilling I'm sure..

rain just seems to be zipping right by Killeen every time this year, guess we got our quota for 2 yrs last summer? LOL
