My Dragonfly And Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good morning, everyone.
August starts to shade a bit towards shade,
Upon the cusp of full tide and retreat.
Gifts of grace accumulate through time
Underneath the sweat of the sublime,
Substance that no silence can defeat.
Though evenings earlier begin to fade.

The Traveler
Soft soggy foggy morning draped in dew’s blanket
a mind so at ease all is near easy to forget
Lazy lavender lilac scents hang in mists there
I awake to a dawning filled without a single care
Timeless times to fill a mind, a heart in peace
as ages echo in the distance until they cease
Waiting for something though not sure what or why
hanging around till then under a cerulean sky
Just traveling, always traveling through and by
and marking the time in the ledger of the mind wry
each page a day in the life of the Traveler grown old
and maybe one day to tell the story if I grow so bold

All is well, weather is great, sunshine, not very hot- in the 70s - really great.
Stay cool Meg, I know you will. ;0) Love the graphic.

A couple lived near the ocean and used to walk the beach a lot. One summer they noticed a girl who was at the beach almost every day. She wasn't unusual, nor was the travel bag she carried, except for one thing; she would approach people who were sitting on the beach, glance around furtively, then speak to them.
Generally, the people would respond negatively and she would wander off. But occasionally someone would nod and there would be a quick exchange of money for something she carried in her bag.
The couple assumed that she was selling drugs and debated calling the cops, but since they didn't know for sure, they just continued to watch her.
After a couple of weeks the wife said, "Honey, have you ever noticed that she only goes up to people with boom boxes and other electronic devices?"
He hadn't -- and said so.
Then she said, "Tomorrow I want you to get a towel and our big radio and go lie out on the beach. Then we can find out what she's really doing."
Well, the plan went off without a hitch and the wife was almost hopping up and down with anticipation when she saw the girl talk to her husband and then leave.
The man then walked up the beach and met his wife at the road.
"Well, Is she selling drugs?" she asked excitedly.
"No, she's not," he said, enjoying this probably more than he should have.
"Well, what is it then? What does she do?" his wife fairly shrieked.
The man grinned and said, "She's a battery salesperson."
"Batteries?" cried the wife.
"Yes." he replied "She sells C cells by the sea shore." |

When it’s 70 here next winter..I’ll remind you that we pay for mild days in winter with scorchers in summer. The 70s and sunshine sounds terrific!
All shopping is done, so I am inside and cool.

It’s the creepiest. I should do it to BHO. Graphically, I mean.
