But, the words were so special, I thought I would share them with you: (And repeat them for those who were able to see the Presentation)

Dedicated to My Online Friends
There’s a land where I go when I need to share,
That’s not on a map, yet exists everywhere.
A land of names without faces, a curious place
A modern creation that’s called cyberspace.
There’s all creation of people with cute little names,
Like Wilka, Joao and Spider and Srini and Geta.
Some have just joined and some are real fun,
And some of them just want to find someone.
But both good and bad, they all play a role,
Still each one unique, but part of the whole.
We talk and laugh and wonder why,
We flirt and we hug and sometimes we cry.
We can’t be heard and can’t be seen,
Yet, there it is, right there on our screen.
But all in all the most curious part,
Is the power it has to open our heart.
To share with a stranger those things we’ve concealed,
Which to our closest of friends we’d never reveal.
Our deepest regrets and most troubling fears,
The scars in our life which bring us to tears.
What gives them the power to reach into me,
And show me the truths that I never see.
How do they manage to open my eyes,
And make me confess the deceit and the lies.
I don’t understand this magical spell,
But I know that without it my life would be hell.
This must have been planned by the Creator up above,
Cause there’s no place on earth where you’ll find as much love.
When I need direction, I know I can find
Those angels from Heaven just waiting online.

Personally, each of you have touched my life
in one way or another. Isn’t it funny - how we can so deeply touch the lives of others with typed words?
We have prayed together, cried together. We have shared stories, and pictures, and parts of our lives. We have shared our first cup of coffee together in the morning, and ended our day together (sometimes with a beer or glass of wine).
We have emailed and received emails that have made our day. And, here, I have laughed so hard that tears ran down my face, and hoped no one would see how silly I really am.
We have been uplifted, humored, humbled, restored, loved and yes, even hurt - yet I know in my heart that each of you mean only the best, as you type each word.
The beautiful pictures, graphics and photos all tell a story from each of you. So much time has been spent to search out, frame and post such beauty. Sometimes I just gasp at the brilliance of color and clarity.
The poetry has touched my heart in so many ways, and I find it entering my mind as I go about my daily chores and errands.
And, as I go to bed each night, I think of all my friends, here, and how much each of you have touched my heart each day. You ALL are “Angels from Heaven, just waiting online”.
I thank you all for allowing me this space to let you know how I feel.
And, thank you Cardi, for your great Presentations!
Well...my screen just got all blurry.. It was a beautiful presentation and your own words are wonderful, beautiful , and true. I can’t imagine doing without my FRiends here..

Thank you so much for posting those words...I had wished I had them. They were hard for me to get all of them as I was viewing the beautiful pictures and listening to My Way. Three things were hard for me..LOL!
Thank you for your lovely personal words. They are so true in every way and I think most of us feel the same. I know I do have days that I need the friendship here so much. And then there’s days when I stay offline but on those days, I think of those friendships online and think about what I’m missing that day. But I can catch up the next day!! I would have never believed it unless I had experienced it. You’re a lovely, lovely person, yorkie! And you contribute so much for all of us.

As I am one who falls into the category of those who can't view the Power Point Presentations, I appreciate so much your sharing the words inside Cardhu's "Roses For You" presentation. They are indeed special and beyond beautiful. I can only admire the opening photograph you post, Cardhu, of each of your presentations, so I also do not know who Helga is, but I can say in all certainty, in reading the words reprinted on Post #1282, that she is beautiful.
