“the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.”
Luv, you are indeed, a happy and good person!

Lori, no one is full of 'woe', if they make lemonade when they are given lemons, in life (which I am sure you do).

The sounds of the ocean? You don't have to go on vacation for that. Just pick up any old seashell and relax in the comfort of your own backyard.Yeah, sure - seashells are just lying around everywhere here - hundreds of miles from any water. :)

By odd coincidence, I just recited that poem to my wife a day or so ago.
She has a lighthouse print in the hallway. We were prepping the hall for painting, and when I removed the print, she noticed that a paper was attached to the back.
It was my poem, which relates to lighthouses. So I read it to her.
And yes, I did manage to avoid completely breaking down into tears because of its loveliness. Just a little catch in my throat.

I had all my bookwork to do today plus a few errands. I have looked at most of the thread. Lovely, lovely lighthouses and other graphics, poems, and music. What a beautiful place Amy’s Place is. Wonderful people sharing lovely things and getting some nice laughs also. Covers it all.
Amy, I’m not sure when you’re leaving but soon I think. I am wishing you lots of fun and beauty and just time enjoying being together with your family. You will have lots to tell us when you get back, I’m sure. Be safe and have a wonderful trip....we’ll miss you but we will try to keep the home fires burning for you!

Happy Kids Day, Meg.
They look like they are having loads of fun. Nothing more fun than a clean sandy beach.

I took you up on that suggestion, Yorkie. LOL
I had to get to the PO and the bank today. After we pick up a rental car tomorrow, I will make one more PO stop.

I haven’t found any old seashells in my backyard recently. Got a couple you want to send to me?

"Tuesdays child is full of grace," I was born on a Tuesday. Oddly enough, Nancy Grace is on right now, and I've had my fill of her.

I appreciate the lovely, funny, cute pretty graphics that you and Billie contribute to Amy’s Place.
You do a great decorating job.

Lori, no one is full of 'woe', if they make lemonade when they are given lemons, in life (which I am sure you do). You're right, and I LOVE lemonade and make it whenever life gives me lemons.....and lemon meringue pie and lemon tarts and...... :-)
