Awesome!! Thank You, our Wonderful and Caring Lord!!
Krakatau has erupted repeatedly, massively, and with disastrous consequences throughout recorded history. The best known eruption culminated in a series of massive explosions on August 26 - 27, 1883, which was among the most violent volcanic events in modern times. It was equivalent to 200 megatons of TNT about 13,000 times the yield of the Little Boy bomb (13 to 16 KT) that devastated Hiroshima, Japan.
What a beautiful animal..and those blue eyes! How we do love our pets...and miss them when they are gone. I love my grown children’s pets, too.
Jim is a beautiful dog! Beautiful blue eyes! What kind of dog - Husky? I know that blue eyes are common in some breeds, and that’s one of them, I think, isn’t it?
Thank you, Amy, and thanks, jaycee, for allowing me to ‘play with’ Addy’s pool picture for the “Just Because Day”. :)
Thank you to Everyone for the Pings and Fun/Beautiful Posts!
Yes we do. My kids have four dogs and one kitty amongst them. And they are all sweet. I just love animals anyway, lol.
She is just adorable, and such a sweet age too.
Yes true, but he was a Malamute. Mutes don’t wander as much as Huskys.
He didn’t bark much, but howled like a wolf when I left him. Not too loud, but very sad. His blue eyes reflected red at night, because of those blue eyes.
Maybe it was the eyes that attracted the skunks,....I always thought it might be his coloring..sighhhhhhhhh.. He wasn’t easy to groom, lol.
He was a good friend, Kitty. I’ve never had another dog since. I had to put him down because of cancer of the hind leg, and I don’t think I could lose another one. I’ll just love the kids animals.
I can see he wasn't easy to groom! We've had 3 chows, so I hear you about the grooming part. :) Now we have 2 short-haired dogs, and they are so easy-maintenance - except when they get 'skunked'. That's not fun. :)
It’s darling!!!
Oh, I had a white Chow when I was little. Her name was Tinker. She was a wonderful dog, but my folks got to groom her. ;)
I’ve seen a white Chow - we had a blonde, a red, and a blue (which was more charcoal than anything) - the blue was the sweetest of all, but the blonde was the most beautiful, and the red was the cutest and most unpredictable. :)
I meant to say I’ve NEVER seen a white Chow. :) Bet she was a pretty thing.
