I got it with that link.....they sure do have BIG feet for such small creatures! Now I see you have it posted on the forum!
Night, night for a little while!
;o)
Neat. Mule deer are much less shy than our WV White Tails. At the Royal Gorge the Mule Deer were so tame they would stand for petting.
At the Deer Farm (Williams, AZ) the deer come right up to you for food, yet really don’t like to be petted. Here is a link to some pictures from there:

Hi there geologist. I love your tag, and whole-heartedly agree. Nice to see you at Amy’s place. Amy is on vacation at the moment and Billie & Mama_Bear are taking up the slack. Yes, we do enjoy the Mayor’s Daily Bread every day. It sustains us through our daily toils.
Thanks for all the critter pics, yorkie. The deer in these pics don’t look like Mules or White Tails. What kind are they?
PowerPoint Presentation with music.
That is a good question, Nan. So, I called the Deer Farm, and the employee gave me the following information:
Most of them are ‘fallow deer’. They are not indigous to North America - the lady told me that most are from Europe and Asia.
The following link tells us everything we ever wanted to know about the fallow deer. (smile)

This is so beautiful! Thank you, Cardhu.
Thanks for linking to all those state profiles. It's fun to go back and look at them again and read the comments on the threads.
Sorry I am late, but better late than never, huh?
How very beautiful they are! You captured some really nice pictures of those deer. Thanks for sharing. I needed something to smile about today and those photos did the trick. :-)
Someday, I might be able to get a couple of shots of our wildlife; fruit rats, but I don't think anyone would care to see them. LOL.
Now I think I will go celebrate “Sit Back and Relax Day”. Wishing everyone a good day.
Yup, I just go all the way & wear red, white, & blue, that way there is no doubt it is something patriotic!
Have a great weekend everyone!

What a very lovely poem!
Cardhu, you are very talented.
Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thank you, too, yorkie for posting it so all of us can see it.
Thank you for the ping, potlatch.
I don’t think I’ve ever been on this thread.
I looked around a little bit, and found a yummy recipe for Banana Split pie!
Beautiful, Cardhu!
