ON the afternoon of Nov. 7, 2006, pilots and airport employees at OHare International Airport in Chicago saw a disc-like object hovering over the tarmac for several minutes. Because nothing was tracked on radar, the Federal Aviation Administration did not investigate. Yet radar is not a reliable detector of all aircraft. Stealth planes are designed to be invisible to radar, and many radar systems filter out signals not matching the normal characteristics of aircraft. Did it really make sense to entirely ignore the observations of several witnesses?

On Dec. 26, 1980, for instance, several witnesses at two American Air Force bases in England reported seeing a U.F.O. land. An examination of the site turned up indentations in the ground and a level of radiation in the area that was significantly higher than ordinary. More witnesses at the same base reported the U.F.O. again on subsequent nights. The deputy base commander reported that the aircraft aimed light beams into the most highly sensitive area of the base a clear security breach.

I consulted earlier with my local Queer Theorist, and s/he pretty much agreed with my assessment, even going as far as to reveal to me that the greys have a base under the Archdiocese of the the Bay Area.
Take out a camera at an airport, and begin taking pictures of the tarmac and related buildings. Your "Imperial Entanglements" will take more than a few minutes. I suspect airport workers are well aware of that, even if you are not.
There are thousands of other pictures and movies of UFOs, dating back to the 1940s.
Is that a self-portrait?
May have to take the next such thread into a Pentecostal/Charismatic/END TIMES caucus designation to have a decent discussion.
Some of the usual types are reminding me of a neighbor of a friend . . . whenever he took his dog out for the dog’s necessary functions, he’d always insure that the dog did his business on my friend’s yard and not the dog owner’s yard.
Some folks are just SPECIAL that way.
INDEED.
Great points.
They’re all in it together. Someone needs to warn ... everyone. :D
You heretic. :)
Thanks.
Heh. I’m an agnostic.
There are some people I respect who are reputable who have maybe seen some things, but as the old saying goes, “those that don’t know, talk; those that know, don’t talk.”
As for the goofy folks, well, I just consider they have needs that somehow aren’t met outside of places like, for instance, “AboveTopSecret.” What those needs are, I cannot speculate.
:D
You’re quite welcome.
Sorry for all the silly riff raff one has to wade through on this thread.
Next one I start on the topic, I’ll make a caucus thread. The naysayers foam and froth at the mouth and fingers quite enough without our aiding and abetting the poor creatures.
Now, wait now. A UFO CAUCUS THREAD??????
Of course. It’s a very legitimate topic for the ping list of Pentecostals, Charismatics et al on the END TIMES/ DREAMS/ VISIONS/ PROPHECY PING LIST to discuss as a caucus thread—as we have done before—and quite likely shall do so again.
It’s one of the few ways the topic can be treated with respect and a decent discussion had by those seriously interested in rational discourse about it.
Oh, yeah, I remember the last one. Seems like it got almost 20 replies. Hugh.
Sure, why not? It’s a religion to some of the kook fringe.
Maybe this nonsense, or at least some of it, "should" go into the Bloggers and Personal section. But I'm not one to demand such, no more than I'll ever demand someone be banished. I like the fight up front and in the open. My ideas can stand the scrutiny, without the need of some Penguin's protection.
Okay, time for the bad pun of the day: kookus?
Thanks for posting meaningful facts on this thread.

The link above turns out to have a lot of solid and interesting info on the crash and 17 minutes later the retrieval by sky crane of the UFO.
It’s well worth interested folks taking the time to read it.
This “meteor” was tracked by the military that sent chase planes after it . . . it came in initially from Cuba and then changed direction etc. etc.
Interesting video:
Have you looked at the "about" page? Oooh la la!
The Motto: "Deny Ignorance"
More than a slogan and deeper than a mission statement, our members have embraced the motto of "Deny Ignorance" as our reson detre, demanding everyone who posts to aspire to a higher standard of participation. These simple two words have galvanized a broad membership base that spans the spectrum from highly speculative conspiracy writers to staunch skeptics. The result is a unique collaboration of diverse individuals rallying under this simple statement to learn from each other, discover new truths, and imagine new ideas that expand minds.
I'm not a member of the Spelling Police, but I think that when you post a Mission Statement, when you present yourself as worldy and educated and in command of French phrases, as opposed to coming across as a pack of adolescent zit farmers with only three randomly firing brain cells between them, that you'll use a spell checker.
It's raison d'être.

Yes, I know, I’ve seen some of them. But what I really want to know is, how do you get the quote in italics?
