Mornin' you two. Amy, did you guys get that freak thunder and lightening storm that just rolled through? Well, actually, it was only one bolt of lightening, one clap of thunder and a downpour that only lasted about 5 minutes. We NEVER get that kind of weather this time of year.
Good morning, Lori.
We have lots of clouds and the weather report is for light rain in the valley today. Strange weather!
I haven’t heard any thunder. If there was any nearby, Millie would be trying to tear the door down. She is deathly afraid of thunder and gunshots.
Thank you for the beautiful Welcome Graphic that I used this morning.
Have already forgotten when you are leaving .... have a great trip and give Nan a hug from me and then another from Marissa.
I’m going to see if we can get a picnic thread up next week. Time is flying.
Keep in touch whenever possible.
Hugs to you and JK
The yard was doing well until a few days ago. I suddenly noticed that something was killing one of my shrubs. I got some fungicide/insect killer and sprayed it. Sure hope that does the job. I couldn't tell if it was a fungus or aphids. Keeping a yard is hard work.
I'm a bit late answering your post. Wonder why? Up at 6:30; off to church at 8:30 (had to be early to prep for worship); Celebration started at 10:00 and it was still going at 3:45 p.m. when I had to run in order to be at the campground by 5:00. I didn't eat the Kentucky Fried Chicken catered lunch, but I made it to the annual picnic and stuffed myself. You remember the picnic? FOOD..
We closed down the Tabernacle for 2008, and just got home. I had to shower to get the day's work off me. I am now going to take a day of rest (except for the article I have to write for the paper), then I will hit this dirty dirty house before certain people from Calif. arrive. I am so looking forward to that.
I'm glad Camp Meeting is over for this year. It was a really good meeting and the weather was beautiful, but ten days can be very tiring.
