I have a friend who actually has a little 'doggie door' cut into his/his neighbor's fence, so that their doggies can visit each other!

I miss St.Louie Slim - actually did not remember this funny poem he'd posted two or three years ago at Amy's, but I happened to have the cartoon to go with it - can you believe I didn't even have to change 'her' words in the 'toon - just dressed up the backgrounds 'n stuff!

Sunday is "Bratwurst Day". Sounds like a great day to bring out more 'brats".

I had forgotten a couple of them.

Awww, another one of those wrinkled pups - those and English Bulldogs are so ugly they’re cute!

LOL! That reminds me - some years ago, I was visiting my parents - we were all at their “retirement community” pool, where they and their friends hung out every day.

One of the ladies came up to me, and said, “Honey - every woman here is looking at you, and wishing she could have a good ironing!”

Okay, that reminds me of one of the funniest jokes I've ever heard (only it should be 'told' and not written because to tell it, you have to have an "old", "shaky" kind of voice.

Setting: a retirement home. Two of the residents (women) were sitting on the porch in rocking chairs, and one of the gentlemen who lived there had this wild idea to 'streak' across the lawn in front of them.

One lady asked the other, "Do you know who that was?", and the other replied, "No, but his suit sure was wrinkled."

And he's saying, "Yes, dear." "Yes, dear." "Yes, dear." "Whatever you say, dear."

And he's mumbling to himself...."Shut UP, you're making my ears hurt!"

I enjoy breakfast at Bob Evan’s. We don’t have them in California.

I was disappointed that I had to cancel my trip to WV. Hopefully, my cousin and I can take that trip next year. I would love to make another genealogy trip .... it has been awhile. I’m still trying to see if Mr WVNan and I have any common ancestors. :)

A mistake we often make is trying to cram too much vacation in a small amount of time. We will be gone the 2nd week of August .... I’ve tried to plan for a couple of do little days.

Yep ... you do walk fast!! :)

The Mutt and Jeff cartoons are so cute - it just happened to work out that your first one immediately followed the “Aig” graphic and poem - the colors of both were almost identical. :)
