It’s fun visiting the old home town, Ashland has changed in the out skirts but in the heart of town it’s still the same. My Gram lived on Ray Marchetti St for 60+ years.
Wait till you see Framingham, Natick and some of the other areas, they have changed so much.
Enjoy your visit, I have no idea when I will be back there again. I made a trip every year for the past 6 or 7 years to see Gram but she is gone and my brother moved to Tennessee. I now have 4 brothers in Tennessee, maybe it’s time for me to go there too. : )

Are you Aries too? Yes, it is then! I read my horoscope every morning on Yahoo! I get a kick out of them, don’t you?
To: The Mayor
Your four brothers picked a good place. What cities in Tennessee do they live? I live in Bristol and Kingsport and Johnson City are a hop and a skip away! And I am very close to Abingdon VA, an old historical town! I have a nephew who lives in Nashville! And my football team is in Knoxville..the Tennessee Vols!

Thanks Jaycee - nice to see you, too. I'd like very much to visit more often - I've been tied up big time at work.

Not much to report today. We toured my mom's home town of Ashland. Didn't take too long and it was pouring down raining all day. It was nice to see my grandmother's old house on main street.
Then we fought massive commuter traffic down to Plymouth and are now ensconced in a lovely Bed and Breakfast over looking the boat harbor. We just had some of the best deep fried scallops I've ever tasted at a little cafe here.
It thundering and lightening and rain comes in spurts, but we don't care. We are having a great time. Wish you all were here!
I am going to bed early, we have lots of things scheduled for tomorrow. More later!

I’m jealous..... Fried Scallops, get me some fried clams with extra tarter sauce and then some steamers with drawn butter.... My mouth is watering.

Good evening, Lori.
Sorry about the rain. I know you are having a great time .... rain or not. Sightseeing is just easier without rain.
Have fun!!!

Yes, it makes me want to make it. It was called Easy Coconut Cream Pie...I may try Easy! I was forced to have a little chocolate ice cream and then I had to turn off the ceiling fans...

I wish I could sit up on your porch. You are welcome to sit on my porch any time you wish GeeBee. Hey, it's great to see you!
I think the Garden Club gave me Yard of the Month because they couldn't believe that I had finally planted some flowers. I think they were in shock that I actually got flowers to grow. The prize was for improvement, not beauty, LOL.
