I went to see my sister a while back and my hubby said my dog just sat at the window all weekend. That breaks my heart.

Oh, that is so sad. I know exactly what you are saying. Our dogs are so dependent upon us, and we can't explain to them while we are leaving and when we will be back. I almost think it would be better not to be tied down with them, but I know I can't NOT have a dog or two in my life. It has just always been that way.

I’m doing okay....I have had breakfast and watered my flowers since I posted last. Now the day’s work begins. Just general work today plus a little clothes washing.

Thanks! It's so good some activities are starting up. It's been a quiet couple of weeks. Entertaining her has been fun but she's starting to get bored.

I truly was blessed by today’s Daily Bread. Thank you, Mr. Mayor and I wish you a very good day! Its been raining here too. Had a horrible thunderstorm late yesterday. It rumbled for hours. All is well this morning.

Gorgeous Grandma

My Grandma is a gorgeous girl,
She’s caught up in a social whirl,
With parties every night but six,
But still, she lets me get my fix,

Of cookies, and a chocolate treat,
My every tooth just loves to eat,
And sometimes when I stay with her,
I am her cookie cutter-er.
