Thank you, Jack. You always have good poetry and sweet pictures and we thank you!
Lori, I am practicing every day! I took a couple today at my son’s. I do not know how to load them to the computer! Son will show me in ‘due time’. LOL~~
I sometimes take my coffee on the patio in the morning. Well, I see a lot of activity and sneak in to get the camera...well, you know how that works. The cuteness is gone. So now, I put that little strap around my wrist and take it with me. Here I am with the coffee, camera, phone, and heaven know what else! And me in my morning garb!
I take the coffee first and the others later!
Maybe I can get it going before long! I hope.
Lori, I know its not hard, its just I have to sit at the computer and let someone tell me exactly what steps to take. I cannot learn if they sit here and say do this, this and that with their hands. It has to be me!
Have a wonderful time on your vacation. It sounds like you all are going to have a great time with family and friends. It will just renew you! Take lots of pictures (I know I don’t have to tell you and hubby that!
LOL. Yes, it always goes that way.
I learn the same way you do, jaycee, by doing the steps myself with someone directing me one step at a time. You will get it all eventually. Have patience with yourself. :-)
awwwwww.........thank you. Angel hugs back to you!
Take care of yourself, MEG. Rest your back and get better. Back pain is no fun at all. :-(
Just wonderful Jack, as always.
Thank you for sharing!
The yard was doing well until a few days ago. I suddenly noticed that something was killing one of my shrubs. I got some fungicide/insect killer and sprayed it. Sure hope that does the job. I couldn't tell if it was a fungus or aphids. Keeping a yard is hard work.
I'm a bit late answering your post. Wonder why? Up at 6:30; off to church at 8:30 (had to be early to prep for worship); Celebration started at 10:00 and it was still going at 3:45 p.m. when I had to run in order to be at the campground by 5:00. I didn't eat the Kentucky Fried Chicken catered lunch, but I made it to the annual picnic and stuffed myself. You remember the picnic? FOOD..
We closed down the Tabernacle for 2008, and just got home. I had to shower to get the day's work off me. I am now going to take a day of rest (except for the article I have to write for the paper), then I will hit this dirty dirty house before certain people from Calif. arrive. I am so looking forward to that.
I'm glad Camp Meeting is over for this year. It was a really good meeting and the weather was beautiful, but ten days can be very tiring.
LOL. For those who don’t know the story; I’m telling. Neener neener..The last time a certain Mama_Bear was here to visit, she broke my shower nozzle. She tried to hide the evidence, thinking she would get to Wally World and replace it before I found out. I wondered what the big rush to Wally World was. It seemed so suddenly urgent. She sneaked away from me in the store and.....aha! I caught her in the bathroom fixtures......red-handed, with a new shower hose in her hands. She had to fess up. To her credit, however, she did manage to put the new one on (after some instruction from the peanut gallery).
I sure do, and boy, was there lots of it! Those West Virginia people sure can cook!
Your tabernacle looks great with the new roof. The red and white is so clean looking. I am glad for your sake that the Camp Meeting is over for this year. I know what a drain it is on you.
PLEASE do not worry about your house. We are coming to see YOU, not your house, okay? Although, you do have a lovely house....that is not what's important. I don't want you worn to a frazzle when we get there.
That has to be one of the funniest episodes of my life. I never laughed so hard. I could not believe how you found me in the plumbing fixtures department, surreptitiously searching for a replacement for your shower head.....and you found me so quickly! It's like you had some kind of radar or something. I thought I had time to pick out a shower thingy and get it paid for before you showed up....then I turned around and there you were. *sigh*....so, there was nothing to do but confess, right there in Wally World's plumbing isle. LOL. And, of course, all the while my niece was about to bust a gut laughing as I hung my head in shame and confessed.
I promise to try to not destroy anything this time. ;-)
LOL. The shower episode was really funny. I get the giggles every time I see that shower hose. I'm sure that you won't destroy anything this time (I will super-glue everything in the guest room.)
I am now going to take my bug-bitten body and lay it down. Anybody know the cure for chiggers? I have a healthy crop of them. Goodnight. Happy travels in case we don't cross paths here before you leave. See you soon.
