Your "Howdy Partner!" cowboy and cowgirl are so cute!
Meg, those are gorgeous palominos! I'm not even absolutely positive they're palominos - the color is so rich! WOW!
Yep! I love the pics today!

Some info about Belgian horses..(my graphic)
They work for a living.
I love your gorgeous graphics
I got a varmint tale.
Yesterday I was out mowing in the front yard and I begin to get hot and thirsty so I decided to go in for some iced tea. When I got to the gate coming into the backyard, I noticed that the dogs didn’t greet me as is normal for them. As I was riding around the garage to park the mower in the shade, I noticed that the dogs had something “treed” beneath some pieces of roofing tin laying under the canoe rack.
I took a rake and went over to see what they had and as I lifted the tin up with the rake, Shoshi was doing his best to get the varmint. I couldn’t see what it was so I walked around to the other side to get a better look. I lifted the tin with the rake and saw a glimpse of a black tail with a white stripe. I had smelled a slight essence of le pew in the air but it wasn’t all that strong. I figured that this must be a young one. But, I really didnt want to mess with him and I thought that he would make his escape after dark so I went on into the house for my tea.
Today I went out to mow the back yard and both the dogs were still infatuated with something under the canoe. I decided to get the dogs into the garage and then lift the tin and let Pepe escape. I managed to get Shoshi into the garage but I couldn’t entice Lady with a treat or anything to leave her quarry underneath the roofing tin but I figured the skunk could outrun her because she has short legs. So, I pulled the tin off but the skunk didn’t run. I guess he was too far gone. She leapt upon the hapless little fellow and...... I guess I should have tried to get the dogs into the garage yesterday and let him get away then.
LOL
Stretch Limo with Horse Power?
Billie ... thank you for posting that beautiful horse today.
He is magnificient!!
I’m not a fan of Pepe le Pew. Having said that ...... “poor little guy”.
Thanks for sharing your varmint tale, Fewz.
Good afternoon, Meg.
Thank you for that beautiful Graphic with the Belgian Horses. They are indeed awesome animals.
Hope you are enjoying Loves Horses Day.
LOL
Looks like that big guy is ready for the swimming hole.
Thanks for the Summertime lyrics, OESY.
Been a good day.
Thanks for another wonderful Love Horses Day graphic, Billie.
Lovely graphics today!!
I would SO like to have you until Aug. 31. LOL, I had to look at the calendar to see if Aug had a 31st. I'm trying to figure out how to let Jeff see WV in two days. Can't be done.
If you bring Chester a T-shirt, make it extra extra large. He has put on a bit of weight, especially since he has been to every "feed the evangelist" meal since last Friday. He's the father of the evangelist, so he is invited. Tonight was Chet's last night to preach. We have a different preacher coming in for the last five nights. I think that Chester is pulling our leg about the Christmas decorations. LOL. He does love to pull fast ones one people. When I told him you had canceled your trip he acted indignant, said,"You mean to tell me that I put up the Christmas tree and strung the lights on the trailer at the camp and now I have to take them down?" Then when I told him the trip was back on, he was even more indignant. "What? Now I have to go put the Christmas tree and the lights back up again after I just took them down?" LOL. He's a trip. I think he has lost a couple of more teeth since you last saw him.
Hang in there, it's not as long as it has been. I'm so excited again. Did I tell you that the Delta Queen will be here on the 30th? You will love that.
God bless,
Nan
When the youth group in Richs church needed Bibles for study, he went on a search for more than 70 copies. He got what they needed, but he never stopped collecting and distributing Bibles.
People and businesses donate money; others give him new and used Bibles to share. The motto on the side of the van he uses for this ministry explains his simple desire: Need a Bible? Ask me for one. Rich is an ordinary guy, a heating and plumbing technician, who carries on this ministry in his spare time. His nickname around his church is the Bible guy.
Do you ever wish you could have a special ministry like Richs? The Lord has given each of us at least one spiritual gift to use for His kingdom purposes. The apostle Paul lists several in 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12, and some are mentioned in 1 Peter 4:9-11.
If you dont know what gifts you have, volunteer for a ministry in your church that interests you, or meet a need you learn about. Then ask yourself if you saw God work through you and if you had joy as you served. Ask fellow believers if they think youre gifted in that area. And ask the Lord to help you determine where you fit in His plans.
The Lord wants to use you too.
You use your spiritual gift every day and we receive. Thank you for our Daily Bread, Mayor.
Their foil odor and propensity for rabies not withstanding, you have to admit that young Le Pews are cute. They are sort of the Pomeranians of the varmint world. At least the little guy in my back yard looked like a normal skunk.
A couple of years back, while I was working on Redstone Arsenal, I saw quite a few really weird looking skunks. I suspect those skunks had found some of the toxic waste that was buried out there during WWII that they are presently trying to locate and clean up. Maybe they should just follow the skunks.
