This is fascinating.

My daughter is studying each continent for a project this summer. We are wrapping it up with Africa. Egypt is the last country we're doing in depth study. Egyptian history is fascinating.

Interestingly, when a “mummy” has the left hand across the chest - it typically indicates a female of royal blood. When a male “mummy” is discovered and has his hands criss crossing the chest it is most likely a Pharaoh.

Speaking of Africa ... I understand why Europeans who discovered it weren't real anxious to have native folks as business partners. Today, Africa is falling a part and becoming a very VIOLENT nation ... I can understand why ... .
