Correct me if I am wrong but he did say he has mp3 playback free already installed in his cd player, either way his OS came with a great free and easy to use program called WMP, and if he isn’t using drm tunes he can use that. WMP does everything that itunes does except sell you the songs. I know you are anti-everything MS but WMP is not that bad nad is very easy to use.

In 26 he says no MP3, only CD.

WMP does everything that itunes does except sell you the songs. I know you are anti-everything MS but WMP is not that bad nad is very easy to use.

You can tell that I'm not anti-everything MS if you look at my history here. I tried WMP and didn't like it. BTW, WMP will do DRM too with protected WMA files, but then if you bought anything from MSN Music you're hosed. Microsoft was going to shut down the authorization servers for that service in August, but public outcry kept them open until 2011. So you're hosed after then. Unless you burn your music to a CD you lose your music if you ever need to reinstall your system.
