TRILLIUMS
Beneath the northern Redwood
Where maiden hair and fern
Surrounds a rare white flower
With a lesson we should learn
Bright Trilliums send a message
Three petals it does boast
It tells us of the Trinity
The Father, Son and Ghost
Below three petals, are three leaves
That makes the message whole
The second trinity is ourselves
Our body, spirit, soul
Now isn't our God wonderful
In nature shows his power
He chose to show His Majesty
In a simple small white flower

Who made the world? Who made the swan, and the black bear? Who made the grasshopper? This grasshopper, I mean-- the one who has flung herself out of the grass, the one who is eating sugar out of my hand, who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down-- who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes. Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face. Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away. I don't know exactly what a prayer is. I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down into the grass, how to kneel in the grass, how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields, which is what I have been doing all day. Tell me, what else should I have done? Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon? Tell me, what is it you plan to do With your one wild and precious life?

Matthew 6:25-34
25Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life,
what you will eat (or drink), or about your body, what you
will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they
gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly
Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they?
27 Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your lifespan?
28 Why are you anxious about clothes? Learn from the way the
wild flowers grow. They do not work or spin.
29 But I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor
was clothed like one of them.
30 If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows
today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not
much more provide for you, O you of little faith?
31 So do not worry and say, 'What are we to eat?' or 'What are
we to drink?' or 'What are we to wear?'
32 All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father
knows that you need them all.
33 But seek first the kingdom (of God) and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given you besides.
34 Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of
itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil.

May You Have A Blessed Sunday.
