Thank you, Nan. Frankly, peppers are so high I only buy one! I have bought more when I knew I was going to use them in recipes the coming week! Yorkie swears by those green bags..I haven’t tried them but will. We got started this morning with lettuce. Told yorkie I was gonna have a BLT on toast for breakfast and my lettuce was bad. So I had a BET instead. Bacon, egg, tomato! Twas delicious!

Explain that please! I thought it was a sidewalk painting, is it? You know those fancy sidewalk paintings that show up in email!

Thank you for the lovely welcome, Amy. I have been lurking for a while, and I see some very nice, and very talented people here. ;)
I’ve been so busy with spring stuff, that I just haven’t taken the time to post. Hopefully, things will change.

It's a photoshop deal. Start with the photo of the boy's dive and lay down a photo-like “edge,” lighten the water around the photo, put a shadow under the photo to levitate it and voila!

Watching the Power Point Presentation of Ro Hi, the first thing I thought of, with each picture, was “grannie9”. ;-)
Thank you for sharing with us, Cardi.

Lending a Hand
The burden does get lighter, when someone lends a hand,
His crew is setting to the task, although its undermanned.
It makes a pleasant outing, out of a grinding haul.
And he may even feel the help, as she gives it her all.
The biggest help that he receives, is company for the trip,
Hes graduated from a doryman, to captain of a ship.
He has to entertain her. He is the purser, too.
And he keeps the sharpest lookout for the welfare of the crew.
He likely will not stay the day, out at the chosen site,
But even if he did, the work would still seem rather slight.
Although the catch could be quite small, she knows he is a winner,
And they will have a memory too, no matter whats for dinner.

Would you like to be added to my ping list?
Won’t hurt my feelings if you so, “No thank you”.

No, I didn’t. If I’d done it I would have made the ‘photo’ border so it was a little thicker than its flimsy filmy look. Can you see what I mean? It looks like someone peeled the emulsion off the backing.

PowerPoint Presentation with music.
CARNIVAL IN VENICE
The carnival of Venica was first recorded in 1268. The subversive nature of the festival is reflected in the many laws created over the centuries in Italy attempting to restrict celebrations and often banning the wearing of masks.
Masks have always been a central feature of the Venetian carnival; traditionally people were allowed to wear them between the festival of Santo Stefano ( St. Stephens day, December 26) at the start of the carnival season and midnight of Shrove Tuesday.
