Amy, I found them on the internet a long time ago. Some birds I find do not have a name listed. (I call them foreign birds) because I know they don’t live around here!
I sure would love to see some pretty birds like that in our area! They are probably tropical types! But I’m thankful for what we do have!
When is or was your school trip with the kids? I may have missed it if you’ve reported on it already!

We go to Valley Children’s Hospital tomorrow. Then all classes are going to a local High School Swim Pool for a Pool Party field trip on Wednesday.
Next week, she goes to school thru Thursday ... I wonder how they plan to entertain these kids who are ready for summer. They already have their report cards. Marissa got one B and the rest B+’s. She did not want to go to summer school this year.
June 24th she starts swim lessons.
I don’t know how I will keep her entertained the rest of the summer. : )
I don’t know how you keep up but seems you are doing an excellent job with that little precious girl. Her grades are terrific! I don’t blame her for not wanting to go to summer school. Thats a bummer!
Does she have many playmates in the neighborhood for the rest of the summer. They can always find something to do. Days weren’t long enough for me when I was a little girl. I dreaded for dark to come! Gosh, its fun to think of those wonderful days. It passes too soon, doesn’t it?

LOL That’s why when he said he quit eating sugar and white things I said I didn’t eat much sugar—I don’t. Just a lot of chocolate and bread and gravy, and potatoes...

We live in a very rural area without close neighbors.
There are a couple of classmates that she can visit over the summer. We will try to meet them in the small local park a couple of days for a picnic.
Also, I will try to make arrangements for her to visit her two younger half sisters 2 or 3 times. When she goes there she gets to swim and I like to keep her in contact with her little sisters.
This will be the first year that she has not gone to summer school. She usually likes to go because she has a chance to see her classmates.
We had a nice day.
I was forced to do some laundry and some (very little) things in the house since I will be gone tomorrow. I think I will probably get back about 2:00.
Depending on how rowdy the kids are, I may need a nap by then. ;^ )

I may have to raid the freezer .... I don’t have any rocky road but I have some butter pecan.
