Good morning, Iowa Granny! I went to mass last night and ran into the lady who is the head of the Guadalupe Committee and we went out for a sandwich after church. I got the scoop on the liturgist/choir director's leaving, which satisfied my curiosity about what made the choir take the drastic step of demanding his firing.

Apparently he YELLED at choir members and told them to forget how everything had been done, HE was now in charge. He also got rid of ALL of the cantors and took over cantoring in every mass. AND he couldn't read music! How he talked himself into getting hired is still a mystery to me.

Must be a lib. Typical...point the finger at others even though he is far less qualified. I bet in his mind he thought he could read music. That’s all that matters. ;-)
