Please take some time ..today.. to remember. Thank you.
Got rain and high winds, but it wasn’t too bad. Glad we got the rain. It was starting to get pretty dry here.
Unfortunately, the mosquitoes were happy for the rain, too.
Ugh.
Good morning.
Thank you for breakfast, lysie.
I noticed my volunteer Cleomes emerging yesterday.
Haven’t gotten Cleome seeds in the ground yet......Know it’s late, but must clear part of a bed first.
High today will be 56. Good temp for major digging, anyway....But, would appreciate some warmer days.

Raining here today - grass growing too fast but my flowers LOVE it. I’m off to the Clinic and will check in when I get home this afternoon.
Good morning! I am busy doing laundry. Mr. Marple has returned to Denver, and will come home again over the 4th of July weekend.
It is overcast and humid here this morning. Grandkids are coming for a couple of hours this afternoon, so I had better get my work done this morning!
Good Morning Miss M. Good Morning Everyone. lysie, thank you for breakfast.
I too will be doing a mountain of laundry today, then getting the guest rooms ready again. My girl will be here on Wed to help get things in order. Roomey bought a “bar”, it’s in the living room...old, almost black in color, chipped in a few places, he thinks it is just beautiful. I found him standing behind it, looking proud. Men are sometimes strange creatures.
Is Parkersburg,IA near you? It looks like they took a terrible hit with a tornado. Please be careful.
Just came away from ole Bill, looked out the door and he was just laying there with a little flutter here and there, checked on him and it was ‘lack of any kind of energy. Went out to the hen house and found the reason. 50 eggs in 2 1/2 days, that ole rascal, he is now identified as a 100% stud.
I go for my eye surgery Thursday and soon it will be something else I am sure, at least I won't have to wear glasses when I reed after the surgery, and I am a reader, on another civil war book (which finishes wrong of course, they are saying the south LOST).
Sure will be glad when I am back to my old self (notice I said old, not ole, the truth never hurt anyone)
Folks, we got some heavy knee time to start, praying on our knees that Obama does not get elected and this is gospel for sure, He is dangerous, reckless, lies, you name it. True, I am sure most of us are not the greatest fans of McCain but what choice do we have. And then there is Bob Bar, go home Bob, get lost (again). Always one who is dead set on giving our nation to the dimwitts.
D is as busy as a bee with events concerning the foster children, with such pride to me for sure. If any of you get the opportunity help those agencies out, so many children thrown to the sidewalks, no hope, no future but the wrong side of life awaits so many of them.
Well, think I have covered anything, sun shinning, loaded with eggs, cleaned ‘shack in the back’ yesterday, if I get to felling better I am going to mount ole red and cut the yard, fun doing it, listen to Rush, sign a couple of songs, chase the chickens with the tractor, all in a days work ya know.
Toby
Oh, thanks to all for being who you are, you are the best and it is an honor that I know you all so well (by keyboard of course).
He, he, where do you sant me to sart, head to toe or toe to haed?
Ummm, you talked me into doing my laundry, think I will wash my wash clothe, pair of socks and wait until tomorrow to do the other pair.
What did Sharon Stone say?
Sharon Stone said she doesn't like anyone who is not nice to everyone and the earthquake in China, plus the mudslide killing over 90,000 people is just "karma" since the Chinese government is so "un-nice" to the Tibetians and her good friend the Dahli Llama.
I know about as much as you do, other than the refs wear the same outfits as us, or us as them, whatever, but yes, it was fun watching them win that double overtime game, plus yesterdays.
Good afternoon ATRW’ers! Our Memorial Day potluck party down at the rec hall went off without a hitch and there were at least 36 attending, so more than I’d expected but not more than this KS farmgirl had planned food for....:^D!!
Actually, I estimated the hot dogs pretty well, only a few left over.
So, we are getting ready to get back on the road the end of this week. Daughter will attend 5 to 6 more job fairs this month.
Always want to be helpful Toby, washing the other pair will give you something to do tomorrow, just in case you have finished your yard work and need something to occupy your time.
Thanks for the SS answer, HOB.
What a ditz!
