Heh, I just noticed yesterday that we must have a leak from the washing machine, and it’s coming through the kitchen ceiling. We’ll turn off the water while we’re gone on vacation, and deal with it when we return. We needed to fix that part of the kitchen ceiling anyway. ;o)
It’s always something isn’t it? When I had the plumber out to fix the anit-siphon device on one of the outside faucets he advised me that we needed a pressure-reducing valve for our main water supply since he was measuring the pressure at 75, and it shouldn’t be more than 50. I think that maybe what caused the problem with the upstairs sink, which OB couldn’t fix after all, and so I’ll have the plumber put in the pressure reducing valve when he fixes the problem upstairs.
The painters are starting in earnest tomorrow, since the house is power-washed and primed. Workman all over the house, my favorite thing - NOT!
