We’er good, but poor Picher! Sounds like they got wiped off the face of the earth.

It’s up there by Miami, (pro Miamuh)...in the NE corner of OK. Miami is where I went to do the disaster relief with the flood victims a while back.

I doubt I’ll get to help this week, too many dr appts.

(Picher is a super-fund site...was in the process of being bought out and abandoned because of “chat piles”...big piles of rubbish left over from mining. Piles as big as mountains...full of lead. So thankfully a lot of the homes that were hit were abandoned. Still a lot of folks were holding out for a better deal or because they didn’t think the chat piles were any problem.)

I'd read that there were about 300 folks left in town. Most had left for better pastures already.
