I was wondering if you could do me a favor with your expertise?

In the movie “Patton” there is an air strike on the Allied HQ towards the beginning of the movie. During the air raid Gen. Patton jumps down to the street and starts shooting at the planes. He was using a small automatic from a belly holster. I am sure it was not a M1911. It almost looked like a Walther PPK.

I will try and get a screen shot to you if you need it.

Thanks.

In real life, he carried a 1903 Colt hammerless in .380, a John Browning design. What they used in the movie, I'm not sure, but it looked pretty close to being the real article.
