Thanks! SirKit and I went out to the grocery store to get stuff for the kids to make my birthday dessert, then to Lowe's, then I came home and made supper, but that's about the extent of our activities for the day. We were watching Animal House, but decided that thirty years on,it's just not as funny, so we're watching a Science Channel program about the human DNA bottleneck caused by the explosion of Mt. Toba 76,000 years ago. We're waiting for CSI to come on.

The kids made me a Strawberry Whipped Sensation. It's like a Lemon Icebox pie with Cool Whip and smashed strawberries mixed in. That's put in a 9x5 loaf pan, topped with crushed chocolate cookies, and frozen for several hours. When it's taken out of the pan and inverted, it's covered with Cool Whip and sliced strawberries, but they're gonna put some fresh blueberries on it, too. I'm fixing to put on a pot of coffee, and we're gonna enjoy it!
