Be Ye Glad...
. . .
The fountain grass and daylilies fill in nicely around the bird feeder.
These. I has some. But don't know what they're called. Nana calls them "candles."
And the grapevine. Needs more trellis and I need to get a net on it to keep the birds from getting everything.
Beautiful photos, Corin! The “candles” are Kniphofia uvaria, also known as Torch Lilies. We have some but they are nowhere near ready to bloom, will be another couple of months for us. LSA
Afternoon - had a great walk and gardening session. mmm. compost. Tomato bed double turned and composted. Robins were lined up waiting for us to go in for lunch. LSA has been planting asters along the rear fence. Got the rest of marigolds planted and did another ten liatris. Cleaned the planting kettle and it’s ready for impatiens.
