Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Is the air still ionized from all the zotting?
But it makes everyone just want to nap...
Later, I finally opened the door and let Gidget stick her head in. She's been just glued to them since we brought them in, but I could tell in a motherly way, not a "is it a mouse" way. She tries to get them to sit still for grooming and such, and they're really not afraid, they paw at her though.
Sorry... you know me when I have something new... picture overload!
What has Rosie named hers?
They sure are cute.I’d take one if I were there.
Well they are locking new Kennedy threads now, so the zotting has slowed down. Some of the zottees were pretty slow, getting 3, 4, and more direct warnings to knock it off, but persisting in their uncivil behavior, some even escalated. Most got suspended, although a couple were banned.
I’m staying off those threads to avoid it all. I think more highly of the sludgewater that goes down the drain than I do of Sen. Kennedy, so I will keep my mouth shut.
I think she’s named the yellow one Ginger.. ;~)
And her other new one can be Mary Ann.
8s
How much does it cost to use craigslist?
Ah - that would be good... Ginger, Mary Ann, Gilligan, and perhaps the Professor. :~)
It’s free to use Craiglist.
OK, here's another: what's the correct tire pressure for a bicycle? Specifically (if it matters) a "mountain" bike inteded for road use.
They should be rated for a certain pressure. It should be written on the tire somewhere.
Those uber-cute kitty pics. It looks like Gidget has really taken a shine to them, well, that’s pretty easy to understand. It was mid 80’s here I think. We have the attic fan on now, isn’t much breeze. Took a nice long walk, very pleasent indeed.
So how do they make money? Websie Advertizing?
Good thing I’m 3000 miles away, or I’d be there to get one of those kittens.
I think that one’s a boy...so probably not an ideal name. ;-) I was just commenting on the color.
Back from the jam / potluck, much fun was had, much music was made; my fingers hurt and I want a Collings mandolin.
Someone brought a couple different types of smoked salmon. Thought you’d want to know, Corin.

Ack!
Or possibly two, apparently. ;-)
What Jen said. It varies by tire. Usually gives the optimal psi range on the side-wall of the tire somewhere.
