I hear 2J is thinking of getting a goat.

I just figure...it may be a long time before I get my bit of land. And after all, I have a pretty good size bit of land already (quarter acre). More than enough to keep a pygmy goat on...they don’t get much bigger than a laborador retriever.

Would make a good pet like a dog, but you can’t eat puppies.

Some do... I guess it depends how difficult it is to pronounce your name. I don't think most people eat pygmy goats either.

I read somewhere that they’re actually considered meat goats (as apposed to milk goats.)

I can’t remember where I read that though...

I’m still in the research and feasibility phase of this. It could get nixed. I am usually pretty good about researching things before I do them. Did you know I researched having a baby for three years before I had Matthew?

Heh heh! I’m not even kidding one bit.

We loved “Good Neighbors”! The snooty woman next door was always hilarious in her astonishment, then disgust, at the goings-on of her neighbors.

I’d have a really hard time eating pygmy goat. One of my best friends when I was growing up always had a couple of ‘em...they kind of used them as lawn mowers, but mostly they were pets. Fun little personalities, for the most part.

One was named Jedi, as a matter of fact... He was blind in one eye from birth, poor guy. It was blue and clouded over. Didn’t seem to bother him much, though.

I had 4 inches in the rain gage...one inch shy of the top. And my converter coupons came today.

Whoohoo - those little coupon things are pretty cool. I took mine to radio shack. Not sure which place is best but I understand that the coupon doesn’t cover all the cost, most of it, but not all. It’s usually 10-20 bucks extra to the coupon. That’s okay, still more than I would have had without the coupons.

That was really cute, and I recognized all the fonts! Clare and Joseph loved it!
